The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ (“°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼”), has the right and duty to oversee and control its facilities and property. Like private property owners, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ may legally preserve the property under its control for the use to which it is dedicated. Additionally, simply because a public entity owns property does not automatically open that property to the public. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ has the right to both preclude visitors or to restrict their visits under certain circumstances.
As a part of my visit, I recognize that I may intentionally or inadvertently be given access to confidential information, including personal information related to students, such as grades, academic evaluations, disciplinary records, psychological assessments, attendance, and the like. This information may be considered confidential pursuant to state and federal law, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). In consideration of being admitted as a visitor to property within °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼, I agree to hold in the strictest confidence any confidential information that is disclosed to me. I will not remove any document, equipment or other materials from the premises without the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼’s written permission. I will not photograph or otherwise record any information to which I may have access during my visit.
°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ is committed to the well-being and safety of all visitors. However, as with anything, there are always risks associated with being on the property. I understand that even with detailed planning, preparation, and optimal safe conditions, things can be unpredictable, occasionally chaotic, and possibly dangerous. For instance, behaviors or actions by a student, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ staff, or another visitor may cause damage to your property or result in an injury. Likewise, conditions on school property may contribute to a visitor’s property damage or injury. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ asks its guests to assume responsibility for all risks – inherent or otherwise – as a condition of entering the property.
As a condition of entering °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ property, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ asks you (and anyone that could legally stand in your place) to ASSUME ALL RISKS arising from being on °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ property, and to agree to RELEASE °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ and its agents from liability stemming from your injuries, even when such injuries are caused by °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼’s negligence, mistakes or uncontrollable conditions or circumstances, whether related to inherent risks or otherwise. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ asks that you also agree to indemnify and hold °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ harmless for any claims arising out of your presence in, on or around °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ property.
